As a staff team we have really found the training offered useful. The Basic Life Support training was excellent. Training is delivered in a way that is easy to follow and understand - though the tests at the end can be daunting - especially as we are new to this training and some aspects are less familiar.

The feedback from my son’s carers is that it is the best training they have had in their years of [working in] care - it was specific, relevant and up to date. We appreciate the opportunity to share with other carers being a small team around one person. We hear other points of view and have the chance to discuss in a friendly space.

Being new to managing our son’s team, we are glad to have found good local training which is face to face and not all online.
— Karen McKay

Excellent, great training. All health professionals MUST do this training.

Many thanks for invite to attend Part 2 of training for Oliver McGowan.
Very enjoyable and informative experience.
Lots to think about and learn from.
Challenging ‘common myths’ was excellent and having a full explanation was good.
Well done to all the participants that did the presentation today.

Very well presented, and thorougly enjoyed Sinead’s (expert with lived experience of a learning disability) co-delivery.

Thoroughly insightful, and having Andy’s (expert with lived experience of autism) contributions as a co-presenter made it very enjoyable and memorable for me.
— Doctor Muzeena Mahamooth, on the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism

Hearing the voices and experiences from experts with lived
experience was inspirational. I have found the training really
informative and I hope it has all the impact it deserves [that it]
meets the needs for individuals like Oliver.”
— L. Hallinan, Coventry - on the new Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism

The training has enabled the carers to carry out manual handling tasks in a safe and practical manner, it has also proven to be very beneficial to identify any new manual handling issues.

I would definitely recommend Maria and her team to any provider that needs support with their training needs

Maria and her team are very professional and have helped us all the way through COVID – 19 in a very safe environment. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a training provider that can cater to their individual business needs.

— Helen Hunter, Managing Director of Care Associates, January 2023

Really good training, lots of good content. I will make sure when working with people that all the aides needed will be there for them, to speak slowly and calm; to enable their experience to be a good one.

Course was very useful. I learnt a lot. There was so much I didn’t know -

Type of courses
The validation approach
— Natasha Walton, commenting on a Dementia Awareness course, January 2023

The course was very insightful and explained many aspects of dementia at a good pace. I will look at dementia in a person-centred way.

I would like to thank the staff and training providers at Coventry Training Consortium, as every time I have been, they have been very welcoming, and helpful when needed. Lovely people, and every time I go, I can say that I actually enjoy training. Out of all the training I have had over the years, CTC are hands down the best at providing that.
— Amy Kramarczuk, commenting on a recent Food Safety Level II course, September 2022

I would like to thank you for your continued support. I have used your services for years now, and have always been greeted with courtesy and professionalism. When I have asked for help with training, you go out of your way to accommodate us.

The feedback I receive from my PAs is always positive. When the training is completed they always tell me they have enjoyed the training. The feedback is so good, they have no problem doing other courses, because of the way they have been taught.

Once again thank you, and I look forward to using your services in the near future.
— P. Bradbury, 26 September, 2022

I have been working with Coventry Training Consortium for a number of months now, and I can definitely say that they are a pleasure to deliver courses for.

The organisation prior, during and after the course taking place is really clear and well organised. Whilst I have been on-site and delivering courses, there is always great support and someone there to help if ever you have a question.

Maria and Sarah are great ambassadors for the company and it is fantastic to deliver courses for an organisation who really care about their learners and I would definitely recommend CTC if you are looking to improve your skills and knowledge.

— Mark (Mark Slater Training), September, 2022

CTC have always been very helpful when providing information about the courses they offer. Their courses are professionally run by knowledgeable tutors which engage the delegates and make it interesting to attend.”
— Sarah Hemings, Centre Manager of Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre, August 2022

— Leah Farrelly, commenting on a Basic Life Support (First Aid) course on 21 July 2022

“The lady was very good at explaining the course, and I highly recommend her. As an older colleague to train, I felt at ease, and will definitely be returning for further courses. Thank you.”
